Praise God for what He has accomplished! Thanks to the support provided at January's Friends of Estonia Meeting in Lexington KY, the BMC Sanctuary is now essentially completed!
There are a few remaining projects in the Sanctuary that still await completion:
Unfortunately, work has once again come to a stop. With the exception of the installation of the folding wall and chairs for the chapel, no other work has been scheduled due to a lack of funds.
As well, the Sanctuary foyer which includes washrooms, coat room, book store and coffee bar, are entirely unfinished. This remains the final large hurdle to overcome in completing the Baltic Mission Center. As well, until this is completed, it will be impossible to get approval from the city government to begin using the Sanctuary on a regular basis.
We are hopeful that funds will be supplied to continue with these projects in the near future. When they are completed, the last relatively small step will be the Seminary dormitory rooms, daycare room, soup kitchen, youth room and finally the landscaping and paving of the main parking lot.
We are not finished yet, a lot of work remains, but the end is definitely in sight. Thank you for standing by us in prayer and financial support to make this dream a reality.
And don't forget, you are all invited to the grand opening, September 10th!
